I got a call from Councilmember Zachory Huish last night asking if I'd like to join him, Mayor Jared Gray, and Councilmember Craig Whiting to discuss the proposed property tax increase on a podcast. I accepted, with one condition: I get to ask my subscribers what questions they'd want me to bring into the discussion. Councilmember Huish found no problem with that.

So I need your help. I want to make sure I represent the citizens of Eagle Mountain as best I can during this discussion, and the only way I can do that is by hearing from you.

When you find the time today (Friday, 7/10), simply reply to this email and send me your questions. They can be as raw and unfiltered, or polished and direct as you like, but your questions and concerns matter. And I'm honored to present your feedback, concerns, and questions to Mayor Gray, and Councilmembers Huish and Whiting.

Councilmember Huish wants to record this podcast on Saturday, July 11, 2026, which means I don't have a ton of time to prepare. If you could send me your questions by tonight, that would be so helpful to me.
